Obituary of Joseph W. McCann

Joseph W. McCann passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2023, at the age of 89.  

Legacy

Joe was born in Philadelphia PA and raised in the Fairview section of Camden NJ.  He served the nation in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War era.  Joe then served his community as a Police Officer in Camden NJ for 25 years, retiring as Chief of Police in 1983.  Embarking on a second successful career, he worked many years as a Real Estate Broker in Camden County NJ.  In retirement, Joe and his wife of 43 years broadly traveled the United States enjoying many an adventure. 

Family

He is the beloved husband of Kathryn (Gedral) McCann, loving father to Matthew McCann and daughter-in-law Jennifer, and cherished grandfather of Colin and Kerri McCann.
