Glenn Albertson

Obituary of Glenn A. Albertson

Glenn Allen Albertson, born in Washington Township, and residing in Pilesgrove, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He was 57.

Legacy

Everyone knows Glenn was a special guy. He left this world too soon and will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His wife, son, friends, and co-workers will attest that he was the ultimate definition of a "Hard Working Man". His wife Barbra (Schomber) Albertson of almost 30 years will always remember Glenn as her "Dream Husband".

Glenn’s hard-working attitude came to fruition by starting out mowing lawns in Turnersville for all his neighbors in high school. Glenn graduated in 1983 from Washington Township High School where he won the first Olympic Conference Championship in 12 years for the Minutemen in 1982. He also excelled in wrestling and baseball where everyone considered him a legend to this day.

Glenn moved on to West Chester and was a roofer while in college at West Chester which drove him into entering the construction industry. Glenn became a member of the Local #172 NJ Laborers Union and worked for AP Construction, Inc. who he considered family. Over his 30 years of dedicated hard work, he moved up in the ranks, later becoming Vice President of Operations.

Glenn was a true family man and loved giving a helping hand to those in need. He was a man that everyone looked up to and admired as a role model. Glenn always gave the life advice of “no good deed goes unpunished” and he found joy in living his life by giving back to those in need.

Family

He was the beloved husband of 29 years to Barbra (Schomber) Albertson and the loving father and best friend of Ethan Albertson; dear brother of Gary Albertson, Sr. (Ann) and Tricia Suters.
