Obituary of Erin A. Gatier

Erin A. Gatier, adored mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 28th, 2022.  She was 47 years old.  Erin is survived by the lights of her life, her two beautiful children, Morgan and Liam; her loving father, Edward Gatier, mother, Connie Mulford (nee Brett), her beloved sister, Ashley Demmy (Jason) and Salena Schwegel, and her precious frenchie-yorkie baby, Lulu. She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Erin had a network of friends that were like family to her, some going back to childhood, others from more recent years but all equally treasured.

Erin was a strong, brilliant and exceptionally caring woman who positively impacted everyone who was fortunate to know her.  In her younger years Erin was a dancer, later saving her dance moves for a great party but always maintaining her electric presence and sparkle in a crowd.  When Erin wasn’t on the dance floor she was cooking up a storm behind the scenes.  Erin was an amazing cook and she showed her love through her food. Erin earned a Masters in Business and served her passion for healthcare working in business development with Genesis for 16 years and most recently as Area Executive for Compassus Hospice.  Erin was extremely successful in her career, both in the roles she held and the relationships she fostered and those she mentored.  Erin was the ultimate connector of people.  She brought out the best and instilled strength in everyone she knew.

While Erin’s professional success was tremendous, her children were her greatest gift and accomplishment.  There was no “knowing Erin” without knowing Morgan and Liam.  Erin’s love and enjoyment of her children knew no bounds, and she would move mountains to be there for them, support them and spend time with them.  Watching them grow and succeed was truly her greatest joy.

Erin’s love for life, her family, friends, fashion, and her children will live on in all who she touched.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to Erin's visitation at the McGuinness Funeral home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080, on Friday, December 9th, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM and again on Saturday from 10 AM to 11 AM.  A Funeral Service and celebration of life will be begin at 11 AM on Saturday.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Newfield, NJ.
