Obituary of Charles Buchert

Charles Buchert, of the Oak Valley section of Deptford, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. He was 81.

Legacy

Charles was born in Philadelphia and raised in Pleasantville. He graduated from Glassboro State College with a degree in Education. Charles devoted his life to the education and betterment of children as a teacher and Principal in the Deptford School District.

Away from work, Charles enjoyed volunteering his time with the Boy Scouts, traveling to new and exciting destinations and woodworking in his garage. Charles will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family

Charlie is the beloved uncle of Rusty and Susan Buchert and Becky Buchert Brown; brother in law of Elton Buchert; great uncle of 7. Charlie is also survived by his dear friends; Eva (the late Frank) Hoffman, Heather (Doug) McGarry, Andrew (Shanna) Hoffman and Shannon (George) Prichett and their children

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, November 18, 2022 after 9 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where his Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10:30. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Charles Buchert Endowment Fund at the Salvation Army, 4 Gary Road, Union, NJ 07083.
