Obituary of Virginia R. Benoist

Virginia R. (nee Kinkaid) Benoist, 74, of Wenonah, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. 

Legacy 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Ginny has been a resident of Oak Valley since 1985. Ginny and her family are longtime parishioners of St. Margaret's Church. 

A strong willed and determined woman, Ginny was devoted to her family. She especially adored her grandchildren and loved attending their activities including little league baseball games. One of Ginny’s passions was to volunteer time and donating toys to the Toys For Tots Foundation.  She was our toy inventory control specialist for the Gloucester County Toys for Tots.  Ginny enjoyed cooking, camping and going fishing and crabbing on party boats. She also enjoyed ceramics, talking on the phone, tending to her vegetable and flower garden and watching crime shows and Food Network. 

Family 

Beloved wife of the late, Arnold R. Nobles and Lester A. Benoist; devoted mother of Joseph A. Nobles (Suzie), Steven B. Nobles (Danielle), Shanin M. Bruce-Baisch (Kevin) and Dawn M. Benoist (Carlos Martinez); loving grandmother Sierra (Bryan), Barry, Christopher, David (Meagan), Amanda, Katelynn, Donovan, Ryan, Cali and great grandmother of Michaela, Jonathan and Maggie; dear sister of the late Jack Kinkaid. 

Farewell Tribute 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ginny's viewing on Sunday, 6:30 - 9:00 PM and Monday, 8:30 - 9:15 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday, 10:00 AM at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's RC Church, Third and Beech Avenue, Woodbury Heights, NJ. Interment at Saints Peter and Paul RC Cemetery, Springfield, PA. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ginny's name to Toys for Tots Gloucester County, 210 County House Road, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
