Obituary of Maria T. Bicking

Maria T. Bicking (nee Maniaci), 76, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Legacy

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Maria was raised in National Park and has lived in West Deptford for the past 23 years. Prior to retiring, Maria was a hair dresser since 1961 where she started her career at Lit Brothers Salon in Camden, New Jersey.

A caring and passionate woman, Maria was devoted to her family and her home. Everything in her life revolved around her family. Her home was her pride and joy. It was truly a home filled with all of her crafty touches sprinkled around like homemade wreaths and artificial flowers arrangements. The holidays were made special with ornaments made with her loving hands and have been passed down through the years.

Maria was also very passionate about causes that she believed in. She never forgot her poor upbringing and always tried to pay forward her good fortune. She would often organize food and turkey drives for those who were less fortunate.

Family

Beloved wife of 55 years to Donald S. Bicking, Sr.; loving mom of Debra Bicking-Byers, Donald S. (Karen) Bicking, Jr and Frankie (Lisa) Bicking; devoted Mom Mom of Stephen, Abigail, Hannah, Tabitha and Samantha; dear sister of Alice Maniaci, Marianna (Jim) Campbell and the late Tony (Debbie) and Joe (Nancy) Maniaci. Maria is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and loving dog TJ.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to Maria's viewing on Saturday, October 15, 2022, 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, New Jersey where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, New Jersey.
