Obituary of David Paul Lenker

David Paul Lenker, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022. He was 74.

Legacy

Born and raised in Philadelphia, David proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he earned two Purple Hearts. Following his time in the Army, David spent is career working as a Computer Analyst for various banking institutions including CoreStates Bank.

David will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He was a deep thinker and meticulous about everything in his life. He enjoyed boating, golfing, listening to various genres of music and was an aspiring ballroom dancer. David also enjoyed online shopping, and over the years developed a close friendship with the Amazon drivers! David loved watching all sports and had a special place in his heart for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family

David is the beloved father of Michelle Bambrick and her husband, Mike; Donna T. Monzo and her husband Bill and Kelley R. Lenker; cherished grandfather of Brianna Grace and Mary Lynn Monzo; dear brother of Peter Lenker and his wife Ann and the late John and Gayle S. Lenker.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's visitation 6:00 to 8 :00 PM, Monday, September 26 and Tuesday, September 27, 2022 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080 where his Funeral Ceremony will follow on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, 240 S. Tuckahoe Road, Monroe Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project by visiting their website at www.wondedwarrior.com.
