Obituary of Helen Jane MacDonald

Helen Jane MacDonald (nee Quigley), 90, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

 Legacy

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Helen and her late husband, James, raised their family in National Park and were longtime parishioners of St. Matthew's RC Church.  Helen Jane was a lifetime member of the National Park Boat Club.

 

A loving and good hearted woman, Helen could be a bit feisty.  She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter.  Helen enjoyed game shows, reading and doing crossword puzzles.    

 

Family

Beloved wife of the late James C. MacDonald, Sr.; loving mother of Karen Poper-Knott and her husband, Paul; James Jr. and his wife, Julie.  Devoted grandmother of Franklin C. (Angela) Poper, Jr., Ashley Lynn MacDonald, James C. (Jacquelynne) MacDonald III, Kathryn Elizabeth (Jennifer) Knott and great grandmother of Ava Marie Poper.  Helen is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and predeceased by her siblings, James Quigley, Edna Mae Keffer and Thomas Quigley.
