Obituary of Patricia Anne Hrynenko

Patricia Anne Hrynenko (Waltman), of Newfield, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the age of 61.

Legacy

Patti was a graduate from Delsea Regional High School, class of 1978.  She then attended Gloucester County College and earned her degree in Secretarial Science - Legal Option in 1980.  Patti had a passion and true talent for cross-stitching.  Over the years, she not only cross-stitched amazing samplers, she charted antique samplers to be sold as reproductions at the Gloucester County Historical Society in Woodbury.   During her over 20 years of service as a legal secretary at the Gloucester County Historical Society in Woodbury, she made many samplers for the organization to enjoy. She was a legal secretary for various law firms in NJ and Philadelphia.  She left legal secretary work, and volunteered, was on the board, and was the collections co-ordinator at the Gloucester County Historical Society. Patty loved dancing and music.  She was the ultimate hostess and truly enjoyed entertaining family & friends.  She was a strong, independent, loving and caring woman.  

Family

She is the beloved Wife of 34 years to Nicolas Hrynenko and is the loving daughter of Anna Marie (Powers) and the late John Waltman; loving daughter in law of the late Stanley & Marlene Hrynenko. Patricia leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memory.  Patricia was the oldest followed by John R. Waltman and Joseph W. Waltman.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday 5/22/22 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080.  Patti's morning visitation will take place prior to her Funeral Mass on Monday, 5/23/22.  Visitation will be held on Monday 5/23/22 at  Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish at ST. ROSE OF LIMA CHURCH (104 Catawba Avenue, Newfield, NJ) from 10:45 am to 11:15 am.  Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30.  Interment will follow at Malaga Cemetery, Malaga, NJ.
