Obituary of Patricia Clara Sheppard

Patricia Clara Sheppard (Bissell), of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2022.  She was 84.
 
Legacy

Pat worked as a bus driver for New Jersey Transit, she retired in 2010 after 26 years of service.  She loved spending time swimming at Riverwinds, going to mass and crocheting blankets and towels.  You could often find her crocheting with her furry friend, Simba, by her side.   "Sissy" traveled all over the county and world after she lost her late husband.  She traveled to Rome, Japan, Nashville, Cancun, Las Vegas and truly loved trips to West Virginia & the Carolinas to visit family.   She recently loved touring local wineries with family & friends.  Aunt Sis spent many years making wedding cakes and specialty cakes for others.  

 
Family

She is the beloved Wife of the late Charles L. Sheppard; devoted mother of Patricia Cowart (Patrick); James R. Sheppard (Sandra), Robert Sheppard (Cathy Anne), Gregory Sheppard (Shelley), Joseph Sheppard (Susan), Sharon Sheppard and the late Charles E. Sheppard; loving grandmother to 16 beautiful grandchildren and great grandmother to 26 adoring great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her two brothers Charles J. and Edward Bissell and two sisters, Elizabeth Ripper & Catherine Milligan. 
 
Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 12 pm to 2 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street.  Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM.  Interment is private.
