Obituary of Dominick Jeanette
Dominick Jeanette, 87, of West Deptford, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Dominick was a resident of West Deptford for 55 years. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and was a special police officer in West Deptford. Prior to retiring in 2000, Dominick was a newspaper delivery truck driver for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 20 years and the Bulletin before that.
A courageous and loving all around guy, Dominick put his family first. He was their biggest fan and was always there to pick them up when they fell. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to tell jokes and with his easy going personality, folks were drawn to him. Dominick’s work ethic was stellar; he was hard working and was so proud that he never missed a day of work. In his spare time Dominick loved to tinker in his garage with his tools, trains and tending to his grapes and helping the yard with compost. A wide genre of music peaked Dominick’s interest and above all else, Dominick was an avid fan of the Phillies.
Beloved husband of 66 years to Emilia M. (nee Faralli); devoted father of Linda (Paul) Raco, Frank (Cindy) Jeanette, Desiree (Bernie) Shepherd, Michael Jeanette, Dominick P. Jeanette and Marla (George Barrett) Jeanette; cherished grandfather of Paul (Caitlin), Samantha (Kyle), Alexandria (Jason), Frankie (Rachel), Nicholas (Sara), Amanda, Nick, Brandon, Michael, Jr. (Lauren), Gianna and Robert. Dominick was great grandfather of Owen, Aspen, the late Oliver Nicholas and was looking forward to the arrival of three new great grandbabies. Dominick is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary (nee Lunjetti) Jeanette and his sister, Marlene Console. Dominick will be truly missed by his loving family and friends.
