Jennifer Chico

Obituary of Jennifer Helen Chico

On March 14th, 2022, Jennifer Helen Chico, a loving wife, mother, and friend of the neighborhood of Clayton, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly. She was granted fifty wonderful years on the Planet Earth, and she lived each day to the fullest as not only an amazing woman but as an invincible fighter.

Jennifer left behind a legacy with her that touched the hearts of every person she interacted with. Throughout her internal struggles, she never failed to grace them with her beautiful smile and laugh. You could find her spending her days watching her new episodes of Blue Bloods and Survivor to watching reruns of FRIENDS. She loved to cook her family comfort meals, and she loved to bake cookies for her husband to enjoy in bed at night. The holidays only encouraged her love for cooking more, for she would cook enough dinner and dessert to feed an army. She loved to accompany her husband to concerts of their favorite musicians, and she never missed a beat when it came to winning her money back and then some at the Atlantic City slot machines. Like her bright personality, she loved lighthouses; just like lighthouses, her family was the light of her life, and she was the light of theirs.

Jennifer was the youngest daughter of late Harry and Elda Parks. She was not only a beloved wife of 23 years, but she was also the rock, best friend and love of his life to Pete Chico. She was the most devoted mother to Krystalyn (Krys), Taylor, and Jeremy. She was the little sister to her four sisters Brenda Dolan, Sandy Pennell, late Sharon Bardbury, and late Mary Kumpel.
