Obituary of Cheryle L Johnson

Cheryle “Cherie” L. Johnson (nee Kelly), 74, of Bellmawr, New Jersey, passed away after a courageous fight surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 19, 2021.

Legacy

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved to be around her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore, visiting the casinos, and bowling in the bowling league. She was known for her feisty spirit, sarcastic shirts and her love for John Wayne. Neighbors and family remember her for giving out the best candy on her favorite holiday Halloween.

Family

She was the beloved wife of 57 wonderful years to Paul Johnson, Sr. Devoted mother of Cindi Callaghan (Joe), Paul Johnson, Jr. (Denise) and Kelly Tessier (Art). Treasured grandmother of Joseph, Kathy, Theresa, Zach, Michael (Ashley), Mark, Mason, Marshall, Matt and Step-grandchildren Steven, Billy (Allison) and Maddi. Adored great grandmother of her special Augie and step great grandmother of Charlie, Riley and Avery. Daughter of the late Olive and Earl Kelly, Sr. Dear Sister of Sandy Trautner (Tom) and the late Earl W. Kelly, Jr. (Linda). She will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Tuesday, January 4th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home -(Woodbury Location) 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery Clarksboro, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital Foundation-www.chop.edu/giftofchildhood.com or Ennoble Care Hospice-ennoblecare.com.
