Obituary of Marcus H Boone

Marcus Boone, 23, of Deptford, New Jersey was called home on the 2nd of November, 2021.

Legacy

He was raised by his mother and family as an only child.  From the time of his birth, Marcus brought joy and laughter into all of our lives and the lives of others. He attended Glassboro public schools and had a real passion for basketball and football. He was affectionately known as "Boone". Marcus was our very own personal comedian and practical joker; a gentle giant with a gentle soul. If you wanted to watch a good movie you could always count on Marcus to recommend a good one. He loved all music but had a soft spot for oldies. Marcus was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Family

Marcus leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Tamika Phillips(Rachel); grandparents Harland Phillips, Jackie Phillips (deceased); uncle's Matthew Phillips, Hosiea Boone, aunt Crystal Frye, special great aunt Reverend Shelley Smith(Oliver); girlfriend Nyaisha Constantino, daughter Nianna; cousins Ines and Jenna; great uncles Vincent, Calvin, Monroe and great aunt Valerie Phillips. His Bros for life; Will Sanz Rodriguez, Anthony Vessels,  Paul Jr., Roman, and Dallas Hohney; siblings Anaiyah Ross and Robert Jones; great grandparents Richard and Elaine Stanley (deceased) and Horace and Jean Phillips (deceased); father Marcus Boone (deceased) and a host of many relatives and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, November 13th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home-(Woodbury Location), 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow.
