Obituary of Ellen Britton

Ellen L. Britton (nee Melanson), 61, of, National Park, New Jersey passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021.

Legacy

She was a loving and caring wife, step-mother, sister and friend. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised her family in National Park, NJ. She loved to take day trips with Fran and she was a pet lover. Ellen worked for the Philadelphia Naval Yard (NAVSEA) for 35 years.

Family

She is the beloved wife of 10 wonderful years to Francis B. Britton. Devoted step-mother of Michael, Stacey and Tiffani. Dear Sister of Joyce Zborowski (Kenneth) and the late Karen Melanson. She will be missed by family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, October 22nd from 1:00PM to 3:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home-Woodbury Location, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. Words of Remembrance at 3:00PM. Interment will be private by the request of the family.
