Obituary of Maryanne Damminger

Maryanne Damminger, (nee Houlihan)of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was 71. Legacy Maryanne was raised in Gloucester and graduated from Gloucester City High School in 1967. A short time later, she met and married George Damminger and together they shared 49 years of marriage and raised three children that complimented their love story. Maryanne was passionate about her Irish heritage and her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was quick witted, enjoyed great conversation and was the central figure in her family.. Maryanne enjoyed dancing and going to the St. Mary's Irish nights and socials that they would host to catch up with old friends. Maryanne worked for Campbell Soup and Pinnacle Foods and retired as a Senior Payroll Manager. She and George were able to enjoy some travel after she retired and she got to make two trips to Ireland. Family Maryanne is the beloved wife of George; loving mother of George Damminger, III (Lesley), Elizabeth Damminger (Wil Durham) & .Christopher Damminger (Jennifer); cherished grandmother of Logan & Devon; dear sister of Bernard Houlihan, Edmund Houlihan (Marlene), Karenanne Cutler & Timothy Houlihan (Ruth); also survived by many loving nieces & nephews; former mother in law of Samantha Jones. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Monday evening 6-8 PM and Tuesday morning 10-12 in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where her Funeral Ceremony will follow on Tuesday at Noon. Ennichement will follow at New Saint Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.
