Obituary of James W. Snyder, Sr.

James W. “Jimbo” Snyder, Sr., 74, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. 

Legacy

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to be around and joke with his family and friends.  He served for the United States Navy during Vietnam.  Jim liked to ride his Harley and travel.  An avid Eagles, Phillies and Flyers fan and he also like boxing.  He always liked to have a good cigar.

Family

He is the beloved husband of Diana Snyder (nee Hogan).  Devoted father of Jim W. Snyder, Jr. and the late Jessica Snyder.  Treasured grandfather of Jessica Mendez (Orlando), Jim W. Snyder III, Robert Mendez, Rachael Perez, Dominic Snyder and Madisson Gray.  Adored great grandfather to Ava and Rylie.  Son of the late Rita and Augusta C Snyder, Jr.  Dear brother of Chuck Snyder (Cathy), Barbara Kephart (late Ray), Diane Fern (Bob) and Bob Snyder (Mary).  He will be missed by friends, family and his loving companion “Shiloh”.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday September 9th, from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home-(Washington Twp. Location) 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.  Funeral Service at 11:00AM.  Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery Williamstown, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to NJ Veterans Welfare Fund 524 NW Blvd., Vineland, NJ 08460.
