Obituary of Paul M. Blackstock

Paul M. Blackstock, 69, of Franklinville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with his family on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Legacy

Paul was a loving and caring husband, father, Pop Pop, brother, and friend. He loved his family and spending as much time with them as he could. He adored his wife, two girls, and was the best Pop Pop in the world. He was a real mentor to many, always available to share, listen, and give advice. In addition, he was also involved in many non-profits and fraternal organizations including The Freemasons and Rotary.  Paul was very dedicated to helping veterans and working for the non-profit People for People which to him was his purpose in life. Paul loved to sit on the porch and watch the storms roll in while telling his stories to anyone who was lucky enough to sit with him.

Family

He is the beloved husband of almost 50 wonderful years to Bernadette Blackstock (nee Wasniewski). Devoted father of Jennifer Blackstock (Matthew) and Stephanie Lauf (Andrew). Adored Pop Pop of Samuel. Son of the late Jim and Sophie Blackstock. Dear brother of Joan Silverstein (Harry) and James Blackstock (Marilyn). He will be missed by many family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, August 26th from 9:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Washington Twp. Location), 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 12:00PM.  Interment will be private by the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to People for People, www.pfpfoundation.org.
