Obituary of Antoinette Zappacosta

Antoinette Zappacosta, (née Vescuso) age 86, of Washington Township, formerly of Jersey City, NJ peacefully rejoined her husband Joseph, in Heaven Friday morning, February 16, 2018.

Legacy
Ann was devoted to her family and her faith. She was a longtime parishioner and dedicated volunteer for her parishes: Church of the Holy Family of Washington Township and St. Bernadette’s in Old Bridge, NJ. She enjoyed the comforts of home, being surrounded by the many family members who would bless her with their company, and would welcome them with her infectious smile. Her renowned skills as a "short order cook" (and French Toast stick maker to her grandchildren) made it possible to get a warm meal or baked treats onto the table to properly greet any and all who stopped by.

Family
Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Joseph; devoted mother of Joseph, Michael (Bonnie), and the late Mark (survived by Anita); cherished gram of Michelle, Joe, Jason, and Gregory; precious great gram of Walter; adored daughter of the late Carmella (née Landolfi) and Michael Vescuso; dear sister to the late Chree and brother Lawrence; treasured Aunt Toni to her many nieces and nephews.

Farewell Ceremony
Visitation Friday, February 23rd from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080; Funeral Mass to follow at 5:00 PM; Interment private.

Donations to, “Jefferson Health Care Center”, care of “Activities” (previously  Kennedy Health Care Center) – where she called home these last 5+ years, was doted over by to most loving and caring people – may be made in her name at 535 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.
