Obituary of Eugene H. Fleming

Eugene H. Fleming JR, 66, of Sewell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving Arc Gloucester group home family. He was born on July 28, 1954 and he resided at The Arc Gloucester Greentree Group Home for 38 years. He spent many years enjoying life side by side his 5 housemates and many holidays, birthdays and life events surrounded by unconditional love and laughter. Gene attended Turnersville Achievement Center for 36 years where he greeted staff and his friends with an infectious smile every morning. 

Gene was an avid painter, participated in Life-Long Learning and loved all things that were orange in color! He enjoyed outings with staff, attending church and socializing with peers at various dances, picnics, and parties. 

Gene will forever be remembered as someone who loved life with an unforgettable radiant smile, outgoing personality and a light that lit up everyone’s life.
