Obituary of Marian W. Tierno

Marian W. Tierno, of the Greenfields section of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away at home on Sunday, February 28, 2021. She was 92.

 

Legacy

Marian grew up in National Park, New Jersey and was a devoted daughter and sister.  She loved to listen to music and dance with her friends.  She met the love of her life, Carmen, who caught her eye in full white military uniform.  They married on June 9, 1955 and raised three children teaching them a strong work ethic. She loved the beach, cooking polish food, and enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her house. 

 

Family

Predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Natalia (Golasky) Anderson, Marian is the beloved Wife of the late Carmen Tierno, Sr.; devoted mother of Joseph (Carrie), Karen Anthony (Michael) and Carmen, Jr. (Kathleen); dear sister to the late Lillian Zador and Andrew Anderson; loving grandmother to Ryan, Marissa, Jonathan, Daniel, Patrick, Emily and Andrew. She is also survived by special nieces as well as extended family members and friends.
