Obituary of Dorothy May Lopez

Dorothy May Lopez (nee Dankel), 84 of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. 

Legacy

Dorothy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  She was the Diner Queen and enjoyed going with family or best friends Judy Blymer and Ethel Dankel.  In her earlier years she enjoyed ceramics, making them and painting them.  She loved to cook for her family and couldn't wait to see her grandchildren. 

Family

She is the beloved wife of over 25 years to Charles Lopez.  Devoted mother of Ollie Underwood III (Nancy), William Underwood (Debra), Dorothy Underwood, Robert Underwood (Kim), Terry Underwood (Carrie) and the late James Underwood.  Treasured grandmother of Tracie (Lee), Barbara, Ollie IV, Jennifer, Leann, Jimmy (Sara), Nicholas (Amanda), Maggie, Brandon (Maryellen), Jarred (Chasity), Ashley, Cali (Andrew), and Trest (Hallie).  Adored great grandmother of Nico, Marco, Brett, Charrli, Calli, Annalise, Jenna, Amelia, Caroline, Layken, Harper, Alexis, Maverick, Mitchell and Paul. She will be missed by many friends and family.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside Service at 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 30th in the Green Cemetery, 500 Tanyard Road (Barber St.) Deptford, NJ 08096.
