At 11:15 PM on 30 October 2020, William Patrick Hendrickson, 65, of Woodbury, NJ,  left this earth with angels to visit his Mother and Father, Robert Clymer Hendrickson and Judith Werntz Hendrickson.

Family:

Loving brother of Robert Clymer Hendrickson and Daniel Nelson Hendrickson, and Judy Anne Schoenhoff; nephew of June Nolte and William Werntz and also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He suffered from a series of strokes, caused by mersa, which made it difficult to overcome.  The Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill was informative supportive loving caring knowledgeable and unbelievably professional while having to endure the knowledge of a loved one potential passing.  The Multiple Doctors nurses and staff went above and beyond a hospital to continue to update Williams status and his medical condition throughout this difficult process.  Thank you Inspira for having you in South Jersey as a location to send a loved one in need to tend or mend a healing medical condition.  I knew that my brother was well cared for while at this amazing facility with an awesome professional staff.  He had many nicknames over his life, some being:  Billy, William, Hendu, Cuz, My brother, Uncle Bill, William Patrick, Saint Patrick, A huge San Fran 49 er Fan, a Son, a college graduate, a dedicated worker, a Catholic, a “Woodbury Herd” graduate, a Hendrickson, A True American, A Navy man, a Californian, a Jersian, a South Jersey lover, a Friend, an emotional human being, a proud citizen of this great country,  and a great person who could make you proud to know him.   He was a volunteer firefighter for Deptford and was very active with the Big Brother’s of America.

A gathering will be held in the near future to celebrate Billy’s life and the website will be updated with detailed information.  Thank you.

A personal note from Daniel “Dan” Hendrickson:

We are really going to miss you!  We love you and we have so many great memories of you.  Say hello to Mom and Dad. Give them big hugs from all of us and may God be with you in your journey. My kids loved you and you have made so many people smile in your lifetime.  We will miss you and you will not be forgotten.  Thank you for being my brother my friend and a dependable person, who I loved deeply. May you travel peacefully in your journey with the wings of an angel. Send me a message to let me know that you are safe and with our loved ones in Heaven.  May God be with you protect you and help you in your journey.  God Bless you Billy my brother who never forgot me on my birthday and special occasions.  I am truly honored to have a brother like you. Thank you for all of the good memories and may they never fade.  It has not even been a day that has passed since your passing and I miss you already.  May God be with you!   Happy Birthday!  You should be proud of who you are.  Again I thank you for being my brother.  Thanks for the memories!  God Bless you Billy!  Big hugs my brother, Saint Patrick!  To those that know me. This hurts so much to send this news to you all on Facebook but I feel that many of you that knew him should have the knowledge and unfortunate news that we lost a true American yesterday.  A Navy man that loved this country.  A man who never tried to do anything but to build on the morals and the values of this great young country and all that it stands for.  Again God bless you Billy!  Amen!
