Obituary of John R Montague

John Montague, 65, of West Deptford, New Jersey, and was a proud resident of Cooper Village passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. 

Legacy

John was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1973 and Glassboro State College.  He loved golf, baseball, coaching many sports, a teacher of GED and Financial courses at Fairton Camp. 

Family

He is the beloved husband of 40 years to Mary Kay Montague (nee Brand).  Devoted father of Lauren (Sean) and Johnny (Tricia).  Treasured grandfather of Brandon, Madden and Nora.  Son of the late Marcella and Raymond Montague.  Dear brother of Lorraine (the late Leon), Ray (Maribeth) and Greg (Dory). He will be missed by countless nieces, nephews and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, October 20th from 8:30am to 10:30am in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096.  Funeral Mass to follow at HOLY ANGELS PARISH at ST. MATTHEW’S RC CHURCH 4th and Monument Avenue, NATIONAL PARK, NJ 08063.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to West Deptford Little League PO Box 414 West Deptford, NJ 08086.
