Obituary of Kathleen A. Evans

Kathleen A. Evans (O’Neill), 75, of Thorofare, NJ passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

Legacy

She was a retired switchboard operator and worked at Underwood hospital for over 20 years.  She truly loved her job.  Kathleen loved watching game shows and crossword puzzles.  Most of all she loved diving into a good book and will be remembered for being an avid reader.  She swapped books with family and friends and they would have discussions about the books, and in a way, years ago, she may have started the first “Book Club”.

Beloved wife of the late David “Fuzzy” Evans; loving mother of Justine  Evans, Cheryl Evans and John Evans (Christine); cherished grandmother of Lauren Murphy, Lisa Greatrex and Liam Evans and great grandmother of Makenna Murphy; dear sister of Margaret O’Neill, Patrick O’Neill, Maureen Knapp, and the late Michael O’Neill, Joseph O’Neill and Daniel O’Neill.

Farewell Tribute

Family and friends are invited to attend Kathleen’s Funeral Mass on Friday, September 25^th, 2020 at Holy Angles Parish at St. Matthew’s Church, National Park, at 10:30 am.  Interment will be held privately.
