Obituary of Diana Porrini

Diana Porrini (Tangradi), 80, of National Park, NJ, and formerly of southwest Philadelphia,  passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2020.

Legacy

Diana loved cooking, especially for her unique family BBQ’s, where she served her own style of perfectly made dishes.  She always asked everyone “Did you eat” when they came to visit, and if they didn’t she certainly made sure they did.  Everyone will miss her homemade Christmas cookies, butter cookies, meatballs & gravy and her famous “Grandmom soup”.

She was an avid Phillies fan, even when they were losing, she still rooted them on. Sometimes she was a “ballbuster”, but her family loved it.  She loved her glasses of wine and will always be remembered as the #1 mother-in-law!

Family

Beloved wife of the late Martin J. Porrini, Sr.; loving mother of Donnamarie Barbetta (Joseph), Lisa “The Pizza” Magee (Jimmy) and the late Martin J. Porrini, Jr. (Christina); dear sister of Anthony Tangradi (Kathy) and Carol Stahl (William); cherished grandmother of Joseph Michael Polito, Dinamarie Papa (Michael), Nicholas Joseph Barbetta, Brittney Porrini, Gabrielle Porrini; great grandmother of Nicole Papa & Ashley Papa and great great grandmother of Marina Papa-Sands.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Visitation will be held at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096 on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 8 am to 10 am.  Funeral Mass will follow at Holy Angels Parish at St. Matthews Church, 4^th & Monument  Ave., National Park NJ at 11 am   Interment  will follow at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
