John Austin IV

Obituary of John Palmer Austin IV

John Palmer Austin IV, 38, of Williamstown, NJ passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

Legacy

A dedicated husband, father, son, brother and uncle, nothing brought more joy to John than spending time with his family.  Whether it was just the daily running around with the twins, Maddison and Logan or spending time at the beach in Brigantine, family came first to John.  He was passionate about fishing with family and friends.  He also enjoyed jiu-jitsu at Hassetts with his son Logan and supported his daughter, Maddison's love for ballet.  His obsession with Oakley sunglasses is known by all who knew and loved him.

Born Woodbury and raised in Franklinville, John was a 2000 graduate of Delsea High School where he participated in football and track.  A resident of Williamstown since 2009, John was a proud Corrections Officer for 12 years in Gloucester County and recently, Salem County.

Family

Beloved husband of Kathy L. (nee Woyonski); devoted father of Maddison and Logan; loving son of John "Jack"  Palmer III and Kathy (nee Causton) Austin; dear brother of Andrea (Mark) Alibrando and dear unkie of Gigi and Nate.  John is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
