Obituary of Yasmine G. Myers

Yasmine G. Myers, (nee Butrus) born December 30, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA joined the love of her life in eternal peace on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at her home in Franklinville, New Jersey.  She was 90 years old. 

Legacy
Yasmine was born and raised in South Philly.  She was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. She later married her beloved husband Don and they moved to Marlton, NJ to start a family.  Yasmine stayed home in her early years to raise her family and later went on to work and retire from Traveler’s Express as an administrative assistant.  She was a member of St. Maron’s Marionite Catholic Church in South Philly.  Yasmine was a devoted wife who loved spending time with her family.  She taught her children and grandchildren invaluable life lessons of love and kindness.  She is remembered for her kind spirit, gentle nature and unconditional love.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 


Family

Loving mother of Donald (Alice) Myers, Jr., Elizabeth (Raymond) Fitzpatrick, Yasmine Myers, and Margaret (James) Taylor.  Dear sister of Helen Butrus and Joseph (Diane) Butrus.  Cherished grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 11, and many nieces and nephews.


Yasmine is predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Donald Myers; son, Michael Myers; brother, John (Teri) Butrus; and granddaughter, Christina Plower. 

Farewell Tribute
 

Visitation will be held at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ  08080 on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm.  Funeral service will begin at 11:30 am.  Inurnment will follow at the Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
