Anna McLaughlin

Obituary of Anna J. McLaughlin

Anna J. McLaughlin (nee Stanley), 99, of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Legacy

Nan, as she was affectionately known, was tiny in size, strong and feisty, and loving to all. She stood for all the best of the greatest generation, of which she was so proud. Nan lived life to the fullest and shared her wonderful insight and sense of humor to her loved ones. To her, family was everything. She enjoyed hosting them in Sea Isle City and being the center of it in Woodbury Heights. The grandkids kept her young and engaged. She was active in the senior citizens and her quilting group and spent countless hours sitting on her porch watching the children play in the schoolyard across the street.

Born in Staten Island, NY, Nan was a resident of Woodbury Heights for the past 72 years. She was a longtime parishioner of Infant Jesus Parish.

Family

Anna left a legacy with her family - beloved wife of the late, James J. McLaughlin, Jr.; loving mother of Patricia (Ward) Morgan, Sheila (Tom) Glanfield, John (Kelly) McLaughlin and the late James J.(Linda) McLaughlin III ; cherished Nan of Stephen, Todd, Kristy, TJ, Kelli, Anna, Kathleen, Ashley, James and Melanie; and doting great Nan of Regan, Riley, Cristian, Arden, Seren, Michael, James, Jack, Finley, Ethan, Lily, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Dylan and Andrew.
