Obituary of Anna M. Stickley

Anna M. Stickley (nee Sedlar), 90, of West Deptford, NJ, formerly of Edison, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

LEGACY

A loving and generous woman, Anna was devoted to her family.  She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, New Mexico, cruises and European Excursions with family and friends.  Anna was also a parishioner at Infant Jesus Parish in Woodbury Heights, NJ.

Born in Exeter, PA, Anna was a longtime resident of Edison, NJ prior to moving to West Deptford.  Anna retired from St. Peter’s Medical Center where she was the secretary to the Director of the School of Nursing in New Brunswick, NJ.  She was a very active member in the community and served as Past President and lifetime member of both, the Middlesex County American Legion Auxiliary and the Edison American Legion Auxiliary, Post 324.  Anna was also involved in several organizations including the Clara Barton Senior Social Club, West Deptford Seniors and the Garden State Chapter of DESA.

FAMILY

Beloved wife of 45 years to the late, William who passed away in 1993; devoted mother of Barbara Sorensen Jetters (J.D.) and Dorothy Romaine (Paul); loving grandmother of Kristin Sorensen, Erik Sorensen, Mark (Ruth) Sorensen, Dana (Bill) Prinz, Paul Romaine, Brooke Romaine, Melissa (Matt) Morris, Joshua Jetters, Christian Jetters and great grandmother of Piper Prinz and many other great grandchildren; dear sister of Ruth Lunga and sister in law to Rose Sedlar and Margaret Palmer.  Anna is predeceased by her parents, John and Susan (nee Kzach) Sedlar and her brothers, Joseph and Bernard.

FUNERAL CEREMONY

Due to the National Health Crisis, services for Anna will be held privately.
