Obituary of Elfriede J North

Elfriede J. North, a resident of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away at home on Thursday, February 20, 2020.  She was 84.
 Legacy
Elfriede will be remembered as an all around amazing woman.  She held the talent of creating beautiful things with her hands.  Elfriede enjoyed painting and creating works of art.  As a master seamstress, creating custom dresses and costumes from scratch was second nature to Elfriede and an incredible talent she possessed.  Among the many hobbies she had, she enjoyed spending time outside and in her garden, planting each flower seed so that her garden would always be bountiful.  One of Elfriede's proudest accomplishments was hiking the entire Appalachian Trail.  She was also a member of the A.T. Conference.         
Family
She is the devoted mother to Janice Clark (Paul), Joe North and Daniel North (Gyselle); dear sister to Siegfried Schodel and Rudolph Schodel; loving grandmother to Andrew, Ian, Joe V and Holly.  Elfriede is also survived by many extended family in Germany. 
Elfriede is predeceased by her parents Emil and Helene Schodel and her sister Ruth Dense.
 Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Scarpinato's Cucina, 194 Fries Mill Rd, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
