I have known Rex most of my life and it is hard to believe that someone as alive and vital as he was is gone. He was like a brother to me and many others who grew up with him. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones. (And he had a pet squirrel. I love this. )

I'm so sorry Louise, Keith and family that Rex had to leave so soon. Seems we lose touch with our ole' friends! I enjoyed reading about Rex and his hobbies/life...he was a man of God and loved and lived a righteous life. My prayers will be with you...I know he'll be missed by many! (I grew up with him in Narrows) God comfort all❤

So sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin Rex. We had many great times when I was growing up in Narrows, even though it was for only 2 years. He taught me how to swim at the Park, we fished and camped many times. Built a boat out of corrugated metal and used street tar to patch the holes in it. He was the test pilot for it and it sunk immediately behind the dam on Wolf Creek. My condolences to each and everyone that he touched in his life. Until we meet with our heavenly father, take care Rex.

We were so sorry to hear this sad news! Rex and I grew up together and were friends over the years especially during our years attending Narrows schools. He will certainly be missed by many!!
Rest assured all of his family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time and in the days ahead. Thinking of all of you with sincere sympathy!

I went to school with Rex and was so sorry to hear of his passing. He was one of the "strongholds" of our class of 1968 and I know we will all miss him.
I haven't seen Rex in a long time but I want his family to know that they are in my prayers.

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Mullins family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eliminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Rex was always like a younger brother to me. His passing will
leave a void in my life and the lives of many others. I do, however,
have many happy memories to cherish. Louise, please remember
that you are in the thoughts and prayers of your Virginia friends.
God's blessings,
Kathy Martin

Rex was my stepfather. The first time I met him was when my mom introduced him to me almost 20 years ago. I looked at Rex standing at 6’4 thinking this man is giant. I was right...a gentle giant !!! He was a southern gentleman who came into our lives. He was great to my wife and and our children. Most importantly he loved my mother and the two of them built a life together and had an inseparable bond. He loved his family and we loved him. Rex ... thank you for sharing your life with us !!! Rest easy ❤️
