Obituary of Andrew C. Criss

CRISS - Andrew C., Sr. of Williamstown, NJ on Feb. 16, 2003. Aged 82 years. Prior to retirement in 1983, Mr. Criss worked as a truck driver for Service Motor Freight, Lawnside, NJ for 25 years. He was a proud US Navy Veteran of WWII serving with the CB's. He was an avid motorcycle rider, gardener, played semi-pro football with the Yellow Jackets, was an accomplished skater and a longtime member of the Broomall String Band. In 1951 he received a valor award for saving the lives of his entire family when an arsonist set the family home ablaze. He is the beloved husband of Ramona E. nee Shelley, devoted father of Andrew C., Gerald J., Deborah L. Buffington & Edward and the late Trudy Sigall, loving brother of Charlotte Bates, loving grandfather of 13 & great grandfather of 6. Viewing Sun. 6:30-9 PM and Mon after 9 AM in the McGuinness Washington Twp. Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., NJ where funeral services will be held Mon 10 AM.
