Carl R. Szalkowski, 80, of Wenonah , NJ on May 31, 2003. Mr. Szalkowski was born in Camden. He served in the Army during WWII. He was a career firefighter for the City of Camden and enjoyed fishing and crabbing. Husband of the late Theresa. Father of the late Kathleen S. Nilson. He is survived by his companion, Mitzi Oliver, son in law Larry J. Nilson, brother Leon Schall, sister Irene Lloyd and the late Dorothy Winstanley. Grandfather to Larry W., Leslie T., Michelle E. Nilson. Relatives and friends may call Fri. after 11AM in the MCGUINNESS RUNNEMEDE FUNERAL HOME 1100 N. Black Horse Pk., Runnemede, NJ where services will be held at 1PM.
