Obituary of Deborah A. Bernier

Bernier, Deborah A. nee Burns , aged 52 years, of Sewell, NJ on June 6, 2003. Mrs. Bernier was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She attained her Bachelor of Music and Master of Ethno-Musicology Degrees from East Carolina University. She was an elementary school strings teacher for the Washington Twp. public schools for 13 years. She taught at the Thomas Jefferson, Birches and Whitman schools. She was a very dedicated teacher and loved by students, parents and staff. She was devoted to her family and friends. Devoted mother of Philip and Gabrielle. Beloved daughter of Donald and Alice Nee Winfield Burns. Dear sister of David Burns, Mary Burns and Kathleen Schrecongost. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Mon. 2-4PM and 6-9PM in the MCGUINNESS WASHINGTON TWP. FUNERAL HOME 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Sewell NJ. A Memorial Service will be held Tues. 5 PM in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 401 N. Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Cremation private at the convenience of the family.
