Obituary of Vernon A. Hood

HOOD?Vernon A. of National Park, NJ on June 25, 2003. Aged 88 years. Born and raised in Mullica Hill he was a resident there for 45 years, before moving to National Park in 1960. Prior to retirement in 1979, Mr. Hood worked as a Lab Technician for Mobil Oil, Paulsboro for 1979. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was a lifetime member of both the VFW and American Legion. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and woodworking. Beloved husband of the late Katherine R. nee Muldoon, dear brother of Sarah A. Hood, loving uncle of Lorraine Logan, special neighbor to William & Reba Welsh & family. Viewing Sun. 6:30-9 PM and Mon. from 9 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury where services will be held at 10 AM. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford.
