Obituary of George T. Stenton

George T. Stenton of Turnersville on July 12, 2003. Aged 82 years. Prior to retirement in 1982, Mr. Stenton worked for the NJ Turnpike for 25 years as a toll collector, at interchanges 4 and 3. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. George was a proud member of the Seabees and was active in coordinating their annual reunions. He was currently President of the Board of Trustees for the Clusters of Washington . He enjoyed spending time at his shore house in Diamond Beach, NJ with his family and many friends and also loved traveling world wide. Father of Terri, Dolores Dee Schillig, John, James, Patricia Zobel, Sarajane & the late George W., dear brother of Mary Derrickson, loving grandfather of 11 and dear cousin to Dottie Satler, Jim Sr., John & Jimmy Rodgers. Much beloved by Judy and Chava Lefkowitz and Tova and Molly Mott. Viewing Thurs 6:30-9 PM & Fri 9 AM in the McGuinness Washington Twp. Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., where funeral services will be held Fri 10 AM. Interment Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly.
