Harris was born to the late John and Bertha Harris on August 7, 1924 in Richwood, New Jersey. ?Eddie? was educated in the Paulsboro Public School System. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. ?Eddie? was united in marriage to Gladys V. Walker of Mt. Royal, New Jersey. To this union, one son, Kevin Ellison, was born. ?Eddie? was employed by the Mobil Oil Co. in Paulsboro, New Jersey. He retired with 32 years of service. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Gladys; one son, Kevin;daughter-in-law, Linda; one granddaughter, Alicia; and a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.
