Obituary of Orie F Summers

Orie F. Summers, of Mantua, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020.  

Beloved husband of Joan (Norkus) Summers; loving son of Myrtle Shellenbarger & the late Charles Summers; dear brother of Charles Summers, Joseph Summers, Naoma Warren & Kenny Shellenbarger.

Orie served our country, proudly serving in the Navy. He loved fishing and golfing and also enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. He worked as a groundskeeper for Pitman Golf Course for 23 years.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ  08096.

In leiu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Orie's memory to a favorite animal shelter of your choice.
