Norman E. Bramble, 87, of Oak Valley section of Deptford, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020..
 
Legacy
A loving and funny gentleman, Norman was a man of few words who always wanted to make others laugh.  He worked well with his hands and was a jack of all trades.  If something needed fixing, Norman was the man to help you.  He also loved to garden and spend his winters in Benita Springs Florida..

Born in Sussex County DE, Norman was a resident of Oak Valley since 1960.  He was a proud United States Navy Veteran of Korean Confilct serving from 1951 - 1955.  Prior to retirement, Norman was a Systems Manager at Conrail.  He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights for over 50 years and held such titles as Senior Elder and Usher. Norman also participated in the Meals on Wheels program and was a member of the Prime Timers at the Church. 
 
Family
Beloved husband of the late, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Dennis); loving father of Sandra Lee (Richard) Bennis and Patricia Ann (Harry Jr. ) Marino; devoted grandfather of Shaun Richard (Carlye) and Chase Daniel (Ashlyn) Bennis, Harry Joseph (Sue) Marino III, Christina Mary (Jeff) Oswald, Vincent James (Jessica) Marino, Tricia Marino and great grandfather of Zoey, Reese, Jovie, Finn, Heather, Natalie and Vinny; dear brother of the late Ray Dallas Hitchens.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Norman's viewing on Tuesday, 9:00 - 10:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbury Heights, 335 Elm Avenue, Woodbury Heights, NJ, where the Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment and Military Honors at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
