Charles J.Fleck of National Park, NJ on Oct. 17, 2003. A Loving, caring Father with a big heart, that would do anything for anybody. Aged 83 years. Prior to retirement, Charlie was the owner of Fleck?s Television & Appliance, Northeast Phila & Southampton, PA, from 1948-86, which in the 50?s was touted as the largest such dealer in the area. He also worked as an electronics technician for the US Naval Shipyard, Phila., PA from 1986-89. He held 7 patents with the US Navy for developing electronics equipment. Charlie also received 2 awards: NAVSSES Technical Achievement Award in June 1992 and the Federal Government Excellence in Government Award in May 1993. He was a member of the F&AM Mozart Lodge #436; the Friendly Singles 50+ Club, Berlin; the WOW club of Cherry Hill and the Sr. Citizen?s Luncheon Group, Thorofare. Charlie loved boating and fishing. He held his captain?s license with 1st classification Federal Communications License with Radar Endorsement. He was a member of the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club. In his spare time he enjoyed dancing, including Ballroom and Jitterbug; loved the music from the 40?s & 50?s and Big Band. Charlie also enjoyed traveling, his destinations included Europe, Cuba and South America. He is the beloved husband of the late Alice, devoted father of Alice Madden, Charles, Robert, Ronald & Stephen, dear brother of the late Kathryn Scanlon and brother-in-law of Richard ?Dick?
