Obituary of Russell J. Brown

BROWN, Russell J. of Washington Twp. on January 30, 2004. Aged 71 years. Born in South Amboy and raised in Sayreville , Mr. Brown graduated from St. Peter's High School in New Brunswick. He later graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors Degree and then from Fairleigh Dickinson with an MBA. Mr. Brown resided in Woodbridge for 36 years. He was an Office Services Manager for CIBA-Geigy in Summit, NJ for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he was a Master Gardener, an amateur actor and member of the Diocesan Choir and the Cathedral Singers. He enjoyed painting and traveling with his wife. He will be remembered as a gentle, nurturing man who was always in a state of grace. Beloved husband of 46 years to Jeanne nee Innes. Devoted father of Gregory of Philadelphia, PA, and Valerie Davis of Baltimore, MD. Loving grandfather of Logan Davis, Hope Davis and Sarah Charlotte Brown. Dear brother of Audrey Kimmel of Sayreville, NJ. Dear step-son of Catherine Coffey Brown. Predeceased by his parents J. Russell and Elizabeth Joseph Brown.
