Obituary of Rose M. Toney

Rose M. Toney 85 of Turnersville, New Jersey passed away on Sept. 1, 2016 surrounded by her family at Manor Care in West Deptford, NJ . Rose was born in West Chester , Pennsylvania. Legacy In her early years, Rose was a photographer's model. She married Robert E. Toney in 1950. She was a legal secretary for many years, and later, together with her husband, owned and operated Roney's Restaurant in Collingswood. Her passions included cooking, entertaining, decorating, sewing, and saving lost kittens. She was a graceful woman, with a kind word and a helping hand for everyone she met. Family Rose was a devoted mother to her children Roxanne Thomas-Davis (Paul) and the late Robert Toney Jr. Loving grandmother to Brandon Siefert (Kelli) and Lauren Harder (Brett), step-grandson Andrew Thomas, and cherished great grandmother to Allison, Jackson, Grayson, Fiona, Addyson and Alexa. Dear Sister to Samuel Lam (Gail) and the late William Lam and Shirley Webb. The daughter of the late Annie and Ralph Lam Service The family will receive friends at McGuiness Funeral Home 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp. (Sewell), NJ on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 8:00am to 11:00am. Funeral services will be at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodbury Memorial Park, Kings Highway West Deptford, NJ 08097. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose may be made to support the Movement Disorders Center at Jefferson.
