Obituary of May M. Cole

May M Cole, of Swedesboro, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 with her loving family by her side.  She was aged 90 years.

Legacy
May was born and raised in Philadelphia and graduated from John Hallahan Catholic Girl's High School. She met and married Joseph Cole and together they shared 63 years of marriage and raised four children before he passed away in 2011. She worked for Westwood Women's Health Center for many years before her retirement.

Away from work, May was an avid reader and loved the challenge of working on puzzles. She admired Light Houses and Cape May was a favorite destination of hers. Most of all, May enjoyed the time spent with her family creating memories that will now be remembered as her legacy. Nan will be fondly remembered as a sweet, kind hearted wonderful woman that was beloved by all who knew her.


Family
She is the beloved Wife of the late Joseph F Cole, Sr.; loving mother of Joseph F., Jr. (Karen) Cole, Cynthia C. Phillips (Steven), Lisa Nutt (Darren) and Michele Cole-Ferry (John);  loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 1.

Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10:00AM in the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit at Holy Name of Jesus RC Church, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 150 East Ninth Avenue, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
