Obituary of William Joseph Steinberger Jr.

William Joseph Steinberger, a 44 year resident of Mickleton, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019.  He was 75.

 Legacy

Bill will be remembered by those who knew him as an exceptional man.  He had many hobbies and interests which kept him very busy.  He enjoyed fishing and boating, photography, woodworking, tinkering with remote controlled helicopters and computers.  He had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davison, and he liked muscle cars.  Bill was a family guy above all else and a proud Vietnam Veteran.

He and his wife, Carol, spent 10 years traveling through the United States in their motorhome.  Bill will also be remembered as a social butterfly.  He enjoyed meeting new people during his travels.

He is the beloved husband to Carol Steninberger for 47 years; devoted father to  Christin Miller, Elizabeth Houghton, Raymon Ward and Candace Murphy,; loving grandfather to Alex Iliadis, Joshua Miller, Jenna Ward and Kali Ward.  William is also survived by a dear cousin, Patricia Shorter and many other cousins and family as well as a special longtime friend, Butch Kiefer of Arizona and his 2 canine companions, Midnight and Baxter.

 Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his vistiation on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 9:30am until 11:00am at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Micheal's Church, 313 Memorial Ave., Gibbstown, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be held at the church at 11:00am with interment to follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Bill's name to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
