Obituary of Peggy Hubert

Margaret Igoe Hubert, a resident of Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019.  She was 64.

Legacy

Margaret "Peggy" will be remembered by those who had the opportunity to know her as a loving wife and mother, caring grammy, loyal friend, and respected nurse.   

Margaret had a passion to help others.  She obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for 42 years until she retired from Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.  She worked in many capacities including a Nurse Manager, Supervisor, and Clinical Educator in orthopedics.  Margaret was a member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses and the Presbyterian School of Nursing Alumni Association, the Vice President of the Woodbury Heights Elementary School Board, and the President of the Woodbury Heights Elementary School Home and School Association.

Family

She is the beloved wife to Larry Hubert for 41 years.  Devoted mother to her son Terry Hubert (Alanna) and daughter Molly Hubert (Sydney); loving grammy to Liam Hubert and Maeve Hubert; dear sister to Cathy Barbara (Joe), Terry Igoe (Melanie) and the late Marty Igoe; Margaret is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, cherished friends, and family.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation at 6:00PM-8:00PM on Friday, June 14, 2019 and Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 8:00AM-10:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street. Funeral Services will take place at Infant Jesus Parish, St. Margaret's Church - 3rd & Beech St., Woodbury Heights at 11:00AM.  Interment to follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or American Heart Association, in Margaret's honor.
