Obituary of Frances J Kelly

2019.

Born in Scotland, Frances graduated from Notre Dame High School, Dowanhill, Glasgow and the Notre Dame Training College where she specialized in Montessori and primary education. After coming to the United States, she obtained a B.S. in Education at St. Joseph’s College (now University).  She enjoyed more than thirty years teaching elementary education within the Woodbury School District at West End and Evergreen Schools where she taught kindergarten to second grade. Thereafter Frances moved to Florida and she enjoyed her retirement before movingfinally to Connecticut six years ago.

Frances, who will be dearly missed by everyone, was the beloved wife of the late Francis (Frank) Kelly and second husband George Stillway.  She leaves behind four children and six grandchildren.  She is also survived by her loving sisters Marie Lewis and Margaret MacAninch and was pre-deceased by her brother, Gerald Quin. 

Relatives and Friends can attend her Visitation after 10:30am Friday, February 15, 2019 in the Holy Angels Parish, St. Patrick's Church, 64 Cooper Street, Woodbury where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am. Burial will take place within the Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua, NJ.
