Obituary of Michael V. Mollo

Michael V. Mollo, 58, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away after a courageous battle on Sunday, January 20, 2019. 
 
Legacy
A loving, kind and strong willed man, Mike was selfless and always put others needs before his own. Mike was a proud Italian who loved to cook, especially his Sunday gravy or chicken sorrento, which brought his family and friends together.  A "family first guy", any time spent with his family was time well spent. He made many memories during family trips to Disney World and Wildwood. There was nothing more important to him than time with his family. He was courageous and never complained about his ailments, he stayed strong and battled through.   Mike enjoyed cheering on the Eagles and Phillies, listening to Oldies music and watching the History and Discovery Channel.
 
Born in South Philadelphia, Mike moved to Washington Township in 2002.  He spent most of his career in retail management and was most recently employed with Murphy's Fresh Market in Medford Lakes.

Family
Beloved Husband of 35 years to Karen (nee DiGrazio); devoted father of Christina (Todd) Farrell, Michael Jr., and Marc (Alexis); cherished grandfather of Charlotte; dear son of Vera (nee Strollo) and the late Vincent Mollo; dear brother of Joseph (Lisa) Mollo; best friend and “brother from another mother” Joseph (Colleen) Foderaro. Mike is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and his dear furry friend, Molly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mike's viewing on Thursday 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 9:00 am at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.   Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sewell, NJ.
