Obituary of Joseph S. Wilson, Sr.

Joseph S. Wilson, Sr., of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018.  He was aged 82 years.

Legacy

Joe, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends; will be remembered as a thoughtful, structured man who loved his family. Joe proudly served his Country in the United States Marines where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Following his service time; he worked for many years as a Pipe Fitter for B.F. Goodrich.

Away from his work, Joe enjoyed fishing, boating and playing Softball.  He was a member of the Senior Softball Olympic Championship Team. Joe will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved this special man.

Family

He is the devoted father of Joseph Wilson and his wife, Justine, Vincent Wilson, Helen Dougherty & Bonnie Wilson; dear brother of Dorothy Tochterman, Annetta Jenkins, Bonnie Gallagher, Josphine Roche and George Garbarino. Predeceased by his brothers Vincent & Anthony Garbarino; special friend and companion of Pat Malerba; grandfather of Anthony, Jason, Julie and Jordan; Great grandfather of Johnny and Matthew.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday morning after 9 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 573 Egg Harbor Road, (Sewell) Washington Twp.,; where his ShareLife Ceremony will follow at 10:30. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 Tuckahoe Road, Monroe Twp.,
