Obituary of David G. Helmuth Sr.

David G. Helmuth, Sr., of Verga, New Jersey, passed away at home on Friday, December 14, 2018.  He was 84.
 
Legacy
Dave was a wonderful husband, father, and pop pop. He was a union carpenter for Local 393 for 30 years and was also a member of South Jersey Street Rods with his ’37 Chevy for many years. Dave also loved woodworking, from buildings to furniture. He could fix anything.

He is the beloved husband of 64 years to Theresa (nee Florig); devoted father of David G. Helmuth Jr. (Victoria), John J. Helmuth Sr. (Joanne), and Theresa L. Helmuth; loving grandfather of Christen Helmuth, David Helmuth III, John Helmuth, Jr., Steven Helmuth, Nicholas DiCarlantonio, and Carlo DiCarlantonio; cherished great grandfather of Giada DiCarlantonio and Nora Helmuth. 
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, December 19, 2018  from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home – 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096. A funeral ceremony will follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 1893 Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
